Final year PhD student in the Electronics and Telecommunication (ETCE) Engineering Department of Jadavpur University (JU), Kolkata. I work in the Imaging, Vision and Pattern Recognition (IVPR) Group led by my guide- Dr. Ananda S. Chowhdury . Researching on developing better AI/ML based detection, classification, segmentation and prediction algorithms using Deep Learning and Computer Vision for various brain disorders using various imaging data (radiological, histopathological, etc.) and phenotype/genotype data.
Before delving into research I worked in Mercedes-Benz Research & Development India (MBRDI) involving myself in stand alone tool development with Python, PyQT and MySQL along with python scripting for automation of data quality checks. During my Master's course in JU, I worked on pulmonary artery-vein segmentation from 3D CTA images. Also developed a tool in Qt C++ for the same.
Being a passionate techie I strive to learn and stay updated with the ever changing landscape of Computer Science especially in this era of booming AI. I am deeply interested in Generative AI particularly in LLMs and have built a few apps using generative AI chatbots. I look for opportunities to put my skills to use and have freelancing experience on developing and hosting a website for a canadian client. I was a Microsoft Student Partner during my undergrad years, which helped me to gain experience in developing Windows phone 8 and Windows Store apps. I am interested in a challenging career in Machine Learning that will continuously motivate me to learn and develop advanced solutions to contemporary problems.
